Description of the event reconstruction procedures for the EEE telescopes
This Report describes the reconstruction procedure for the EEE telescopes and the associated software tools to process the collected experimental data [download].
Software for the Weather Station
The Oregon Scientific WMR88A comes with a CD version of Virtual Weather Station that is not compatible with Windows 8.1. You can download the newest version of Virtual Weather Station here (download the WMR88A version). As registration number, you can use the code included in the file "registration code" inside the CD.
DAQ software

This version was re-compiled under LabVIEW 2013, and some minor modifications were applied. All necessary LabVIEW Run-Times are included into EEE DAQ setup, so it should be installed first. Please remember to make a copy of EEE Data Acquisition.ini before installation, and put it back to EEE Data Acquisition subdirectory afterwards.
Installation instructions [read the ReadMe.txt file provided with the DAQ software]:
1. Make a copy of EEE Data Acquisition.ini file to keep setup configuration;
2. Uninstall EEE Project software;
3. Install CAENVMELib Library v2.30 or later (check http://www.caen.it/csite/CaenProd.jsp?parent=38&idmod=689);
4. Upgrade CAEN USB-VME Bridge driver to latest version (check http://www.caen.it/csite/CaenProd.jsp?parent=11&idmod=417);
5. Install EEE Project software; LabVIEW Run-Time Engine included in EEE Data Acquisition installer, and will be installed if necessary;
6. Open folder with EEE Data Acquisition program;
7. Replace default EEE Data Acquisition.ini file with previously saved copy to restore setup configuration;
8. On the first run of EEE Data Acquisition program make sure that all parameters are correct
NOTE: Starting from v1.7.x EEE Project software requires special CAEN TDC V1190 firmware Rev0.7 only. Please update firmware on each TDC in the system (later versions must be downgraded)!

1. EEE Data Acquisition:
- Added support for Virtual Weather Station (works with dbase.csv file);

Note on the weather station that we recommend:
- Oregon Scientific Wireless Pro Weather Station with USB upload WMR88 (). As we can't embed direct reading the temperature and pressure parameters from the unit into EEE Data Acquisition program (no access to commercial source code), we extract this information from CSV file produced by included Virtual Weather Station Base Edition v14.01p30 software. One has to set it up to update information once or twice per hour to minimize CPU load. Also check that temperature units set to °C, and for pressure it's hPa.

Installation instructions:

EEEViewer_v1.5 [software download][readme download]
This program is included in DAQ software version 2.0.0.f1.
EEE_V15 analysis program [download]
If you use DAQ software version 2.0.0 you do not need this program, this download is already included in DAQ software version 2.0.0.
This new EEE_V15 analysis program (updated on 01-Apr-2011) can be used with older EEE Project software v1.7.x, and does not require upgrade of LabVIEW Run-Time engine.
Installation instructions:
1. Download archive to hard drive and run it to extract files;
2. Run EEE Analizer (LabVIEW wrapper for EEE_V15 program);
3. In Ananlysis Program field change path to point to new version of EEE_V15.exe file.
NOTE: EEE Analyzer v1.7.x does not exclude files shorter than 5KB from analysis. Such files might crash EEE_V15 prgram, and EEE Analyzer stops to responde.
In such case:
1. Run Task Manager;
2. Switch to Processes tab;
3. Sort processes by Image Name;
4. Locate EEE Analazer.exe and press End Process button;
5. Locate EEE_V15.exe and press End Process button
